Jury President (Australia)
Short Biography: Peter has worked in film journalism, exhibition, distribution and marketing for all of his professional life. He is one of the country’s most highly experienced festival and film marketing consultants and managers. He is also recognized as film and entertainment journalist and commentator and as a Cinema Pioneer. He has worked in the private and public sector as a cinema and festival programmer and manager for Valhalla Cinemas, Dendy Cinemas, The City of Sydney, Arts New South Wales, The Australian Film Commission, The Dungog Film Festival and SOCOG. He has consulted to Hoyts, Hopscotch, Disney Pictures, The Australian Film Syndicate, Umbrella Entertainment, The Galvanized Film Group, Mushroom Pictures, The Australian Film Institute and Felix Media on theatrical programming, sales and marketing.

Carrie Collins Zenkevich
Short Biography: Caroline Collins is a US-based writer, actor, producer and director. As an actress, Caroline has appeared in films and television shows such as Adventureland, Since I Don’t Have You and Outsiders, as well as a host of commercials and industrials. She has written several short movies and has produced several others. Caroline wrote, acted in and executive-produced the romantic comedy short Lightheaded, which has won several awards including the audience choice award for best short film at the 2015 Reel Sydney Festival of World Cinema. She also directed Hand Me Downs, the only film selected to screen in 2016’s international SWAN Day Pittsburgh festival.

Ahmed Muztaba Zamal
Short Biography: Ahmed Muztaba Zamal, Bangladesh: Film Society activist, presently he is the President of Rainbow Film Society. He is the founder festival director of the Dhaka International Film Festival. This is the first ever private sector feature film festival in Bangladesh since 1992. In 1994, he founded Bangladesh Chapter of FIPRESCI and was elected Secretary General of the International Film Critics Association of Bangladesh – IFCAB. He runs a cine magazine Celluloid.

Short Biography: Starting his career at Medicorp’s TVC arm a decade ago, Derrick moved on to MTV Asia, directing various on-air promos, and artist image spots. Wanting to try different drama and documentary genres, he left to freelance as a director/writer. Derrick’s 2nd film, Colours, screened at more than 40 festivals worldwide and won awards in Australia and Asia. His poetic short, When Night Fa11s, secured a Special Mention at the I’ve Seen Films International Film Festival, the only Asian film that was awarded in Milan. Collectively, his films have screened at numerous festivals including London, Milan, Tokyo, Sydney, Sao Paulo, Iran, New York, Pusan, Shanghai, Los Angeles and Cannes.
