HOW TO BECOME A CINEWEST PARTNER?

Cinewest is a non-for profit Company Limited by Guarantee whose board of directors are volunteers from Film and Television Industry and academic backgrounds.  The organization is subsidized by Sydney Olympic Park Authority to deliver a series of Screen Culture and Audience Development project targeting children, youth, families and communities with diverse cultural backgrounds from Western Sydney region.

Screen Culture and Audience Development, Skills and Professional Development are Cinewest core practice as well as one-off cross arts projects locally and globally.  Auburn International Film Festival for Children and Young Adults (20th edition in 2017)  attracts thousands of students from primary and high schools in the Auburn LGA and beyond as well as through Short Soup International Short Film Festival (15th Edition 2018) held at Cathy Freeman Park – Sydney Olympic Park thousands of audience members attend including families from all over Sydney.
