Media Literacy and Filmmaking Workshop

SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAM

Cinewest will host another exciting digital filmmaking workshop with children (9 – 12 years old) and youth (13 – 16 years old) during the Summer Holiday break. The workshop consists of watching and voting for the best films of Auburn International Film Festival for Children and Young Adults 2012! The participants will brainstorm a story and pre-plan for the production such as; locations, costumes, hair and make up, rehearsals. On the second day, the production of a short film commences. On the third day, participants will decide on cutting the moving images and design a soundtrack for the film.

The workshop will be held at The Newington Armory (Sydney Olympic Park) from 10am – 4pm.
